The Tuft was born on 1995 in a small french village, Lapleau, it included then 10 instruments only, got back in a cellar of the city hall by Michel Doneda, saxophonist. In the cours of years, their number increased thanks to researches and restorations made by Fabrice Charles, trombonist and conductor. Meanwhile, the Tuft integrated into its free-music, percussions, megaphonic poetry, dance and theater.
